Welcome to Senbei Atlas!

Hi! I’m a senbei lover based in Japan 🇯🇵

My love for senbei started in childhood, and I created this site to share the charm of Senbei (Japan’s Savory Umami Rice Snacks) with the world.

Senbei come in an incredible variety of textures and flavors.

They’re not just snacks—they’re often low in fat and gluten-free, making them a great guilt-free treat 😋

On this site, I share everything from the basics of senbei to detailed reviews from my perspective as a National Cooking License holder, with a focus on flavor and balance.

You’ll also find insights into Japanese culture and fun trivia along the way.

Occasionally, you’ll spot popular characters like this one below, adding an extra touch of Japan to the site! Be sure to check them out 👇

I’m confident that in the near future, Japanese senbei will become as famous as matcha and be loved by people all over the world!
